Support vendor managers and cross-functional teams — including in-stock, marketing, and category teams — to deliver business growth. Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value that can be delivered through retail, advertising, or merchant services. Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence, and learn the advertising or merchant services portfolio. Identify opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools across the business. Work with product teams and technical support teams to implement improvement projects. A day in the life Every day is a little different as an Account Representative Intern. Depending on your team, you might be supporting a vendor manager to grow a strategic brand within a retail category, helping account managers create compelling advertising presentations for clients, or driving new business growth across Amazon's third-party merchants. You might spend your morning analysing market data and customer insights to identify target accounts and growth opportunities, then spend your afternoon working with category or product teams to implement an improvement project. Amazon is a customer-obsessed business, so no matter which team you join, part of your role will involve working backwards from the customer to understand their pain points and deliver value. You'll gain a deep understanding of Amazon's e-commerce retail business, advertising products, or merchant services portfolio, and partner across functions to deliver results — building your analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
