About the role Gauss Fusion is looking for a creative and hands-on Working Student to support its communications activities at our headquarters in Garching bei München.

The role will have a particular focus on visual and digital communications, helping to turn complex scientific, engineering and corporate information into clear and engaging communications materials.

You will support the development of social and digital content, visual assets and other branded materials, while also contributing to German-language communications, media and industry monitoring, and the practical coordination of communications activity.

You will work closely with the person leading/supporting Gauss Fusion’s communications activity and with colleagues across the company to gather information and turn it into effective communications outputs.

This is an execution-focused role offering practical experience within a fast-moving scientific and industrial environment. Main responsibilities • Create and adapt visual assets for social and digital communications, including graphics and other supporting content.

• Support the visual presentation of complex scientific, technical and corporate information in a clear and accessible way. • Assist with the production and coordination of social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.

• Help maintain communications and content plans, gather inputs from colleagues and support the timely preparation of planned content. • Provide practical creative support for branded materials and visual communications within the Garching office environment.

• Support the preparation and adaptation of German-language communications, including translation between English and German where required. • Monitor relevant media coverage, industry developments and competitor activity and help compile concise updates for internal stakeholders.

• Provide other practical and execution-focused communications support as required. Qualification and educational requirements • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a comparable discipline.

• Fluent or native-level German, with strong written and spoken English. • Strong visual and digital capabilities, with an ability to present information clearly and effectively.

• Good understanding of contemporary social and digital communications channels. • Ability to understand complex information and translate it into accessible visual or written communications outputs.
