YOUR TASKS • You support the design and development of Databricks-native data platforms and lakehouse architectures for internal projects and client engagements.
• You contribute to implementing medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), including Auto Loader-based data ingestion. • You support the development of data governance concepts using tools such as Unity Catalog, including access control and permission models.
• You help automate deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) and CI/CD pipelines. • You contribute to developing data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions for production data platforms.
• You support the technical documentation of platform architectures and internal best practices. • You contribute to internal tooling and demonstrator projects, actively helping shape and strengthen our Data Platform practice.
YOUR PROFIL • You are currently enrolled in an IT-related degree programme, such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• You have good knowledge of Python and SQL. • Initial experience with Databricks and/or cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage.
• You are interested in topics such as data lakehouses, data governance, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD. • You have a basic understanding of data modelling and data integration processes (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with Git and version control is desirable. • You work independently and in a structured manner and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
