As an IT Admin Intern, you’ll work closely with the IT team to support employees, manage IT assets, troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues, and help improve how IT operations are run across the organization.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience across IT administration, endpoint support, asset management, and internal IT operations in a fast-growing technology company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, software, and basic network infrastructure.

- Respond to IT support requests and provide timely technical assistance to employees.

- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, connectivity, access, and system issues.

- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, configuring, and collecting IT equipment.

- Perform system updates, backups, security checks, and routine IT maintenance.

- Maintain accurate IT inventory records, including hardware details, asset assignments, and device status.

- Use Josys as the primary IT asset management platform, keeping asset information accurate and up to date.

- Be the first customer of the Josys product by actively using the platform in day-to-day IT operations, identifying usability gaps, sharing feedback, and suggesting improvements based on real-world usage.

- Maintain IT documentation, processes, and internal knowledge resources.

- Work with the IT Manager and broader team to improve IT support processes, automation, asset visibility, and the overall employee experience.

- Support ad-hoc IT projects and initiatives as the team grows.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.

- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and learning new tools quickly.

- Strong attention to detail, especially when managing IT assets and documentation.

- Good communication skills and a customer-first approach when supporting employees.

- Curious, proactive, and willing to get hands-on with different aspects of IT operations.

- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.

- Interest in learning how IT teams operate within a fast-growing technology company.
