Investment Banking - AI Research (MBA Intern)

AI is becoming increasingly capable of performing financial analysis, building valuation models, and interpreting investment data. But the most demanding work in finance requires far more than applying formulas or following established frameworks. At Julius Research, we're recruiting exceptional MBA students with experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, and Equity Research to help advance the financial capabilities of frontier AI systems.

Your primary responsibility will be to create sophisticated financial challenges that test the limits of AI intelligence.

You'll draw on your professional experience to develop realistic investment scenarios requiring deep financial expertise, analytical thinking, and nuanced decision-making. By evaluating how leading AI systems approach these challenges, you'll uncover gaps in their capabilities and help establish new standards for AI performance in finance.

- Design research assignments requiring the interpretation of SEC filings, earnings reports, financial statements, and market data.

- Identify limitations in advanced AI models by assessing their analytical methods, financial assumptions, and investment conclusions.

- Develop detailed solutions, evaluation frameworks, and benchmarks to measure AI performance against professional finance standards.
