About the role
We’re looking for a IT Service Desk Intern to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting TensorWave’s Corporate IT team by providing Tier 1 technical support to employees and assisting with day-to-day service desk operations.
This is a customer-facing role, and the most important qualification is strong customer service and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be approachable, patient, empathetic, and comfortable working with employees who may have different levels of technical knowledge.
What you’ll do
- Triage incoming support requests, resolve common technical issues, document solutions, and escalate more complex issues to the appropriate team member.
- Monitoring and triaging service desk tickets, troubleshooting common hardware, software, account, access, and connectivity issues
- Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding activities
- Supporting endpoint and asset management tasks
- Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge base articles
- Helping address the existing backlog of support tickets and operational projects.
- Assist with inventory management, device preparation and deployment, account administration, software installation, access reviews, documentation cleanup, and other Corporate IT initiatives appropriate for an entry-level technical role
