Summer 2027 Software Engineering Intern

Engineers tackle complex technical and quantitative challenges that advance our research methodology and investment approach. We hire exceptionally talented engineers and give them room to grow in a dynamic, supportive environment.

The people who thrive here value breadth, continuous learning, and long-term investment in their craft. They  find energy in growth that comes from rotating through different teams across the organization.

This kind of mobility is central to how we work, allowing engineers to build deep, varied skills and make meaningful impact over time. Our hiring reflects this collaborative culture.

We assess every candidate against one talent bar firmwide, then match engineers to the teams that best set them up for success. As a Software Engineer at PDT, you'll build and maintain the technology that powers our quantitative trading business from the data that drives our models to the systems that execute every trade, and everything in between.

This is a hybrid position and will require the person to work from our New York City office at minimum 3 days a week To learn more about the teams hiring, please see a brief description below.
