Role overview

As a Computer Engineering Co-op, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop and maintain cutting-edge embedded hardware and software solutions.
may include:
Develop code to interface with hardware systems including FPGAs, microcontrollers (MCUs), and common lab equipment such as lock-in amplifiers, oscilloscopes, DAQ hardware, power supplies, source measure units, and function generators
Work with a senior computer engineer and additional team members to understand project requirements and scope; design, develop, and modify software and firmware for custom, memory-constrained hardware and related systems

Currently pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study
Must be a sole U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Experience in electronics or semiconductor test and measurement techniques, including electrical and/or optical characterization (for example, , oscilloscopes, power supplies, waveform generators, and electrical lab test equipment)
Understanding of and experience with test scripting languages and communication protocols including Python, NI LabVIEW, MATLAB, and USB or serial instrumentation automation
Experience with lab automation and interfacing with APIs
