Our embodied AI systems go beyond simulation, delivering robust autonomy that interacts seamlessly with people and dynamic surroundings. Role As an Autonomy Intern, you’ll work alongside our perception and SLAM engineers to help develop, test, and optimize the core autonomy stack powering our next generation of robots.

This is a hands-on role where your work will move from code to real robots — fast. What You’ll Do • Assist in developing and testing perception pipelines for detection, tracking, and free-space estimation.

• Support visual SLAM experiments, data collection, and algorithm evaluation. • Help calibrate and tune RGB-D, stereo, LiDAR, and IMU sensors. • Run field tests, collect datasets, and perform benchmarking.

• Contribute to tools for data labeling, analysis, and regression testing. Requirements • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Proficient in Python; C++ experience a plus. • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 is a must. • Interest in computer vision, SLAM, and embedded robotics. • Comfortable working in Linux environments.

Why Join Us • At Griffin Labs, you’ll be part of a team building embodied AI for the real world — not just for simulation. You’ll learn from experienced autonomy engineers, see your work run on real robots, and contribute to technology that redefines what autonomous systems can do.

This is your chance to be on the inside of one of the most exciting fields in robotics and AI.
