About The Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support direct materials procurement and help shape the foundation of Hermeus’ supply chain as we scale toward production and qualification. This role will focus on building systems, strengthening supplier infrastructure, and preparing our supply chain for repeatable vehicle builds. Spring: Around 16 weeks (January - April) Summer: Around 12 weeks (May - August)

Responsibilities: • Support purchasing activities for direct materials, helping ensure timely delivery of components for vehicle programs • Conduct supplier gap analysis and help build and refine our approved supplier list • Assist in developing and documenting supply chain standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Support development and maintenance of standard parts lists (Min/Max) to improve sourcing efficiency and cost control • Help create templates and frameworks for supplier audits and quarterly business reviews • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to align sourcing strategies with production goals • Contribute to process improvements that prepare the organization for scaled production and qualification

Required Qualifications: • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field • Experience supporting direct materials procurement • Strong negotiation skills especially related to cost and payment terms • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment • Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility • Familiarity with procurement/ERP systems • Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus's mission. • GPA of 3.0 or above.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications: • Experience in or at an Aerospace or Defense manufacturer • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

#LI-Onsite The hourly rate listed for this internship is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on degree level. Benefits: • Time Off: Interns are eligible for 5 days of sick leave and unpaid time off. • Office Perks: Weekly paid office lunches and fully stocked breakrooms.
