Make your mark in   Actuarial Our Actuaries are on the front lines, quantifying risk, pricing   insurance   and reserving losses for AIG’s major insurance   operating companies , globally.

We collaborate with Finance, Claims, Operations, Marketing and Risk Management, among other functions.   As an AIG actuary, you will be challenged and encouraged to reach your greatest potential to help improve how we predict, manage and mitigate risk.

How you will   make   an impact AIG’s   S ummer   I nterns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company.   During the   9 -week program ,   y ou will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge ,   work ing   with leaders on dynamic projects, with   plenty of   opportunity for challenges,   learning   and achievement.

S ummer   I nterns join one of our   key   business   teams , which   offers   a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment.

In addition to   meaningful on-the-job experiences ,   interns will join instructor - led masterclasses,   hear directly from senior   leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking   events   and volunteering.

Following completion of   the internship program, interns may be considered for a role in the location where they completed their internship, with the Analyst program beginning in July 2028 .

Responsibilities • Analyze data and apply actuarial techniques to help quantify risk, price insurance products, and support loss reserving . • Assist   with actuarial analyses, models, forecasts, and reports that support business and financial decisions.

• Partner with experienced actuaries and teams across Finance, Claims, Operations, Risk Management, and other business areas. • Monitor trends and evaluate financial and insurance data to   identify   insights and support recommendations.

• Communicate   actuarial findings and analyses clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Develop technical and business   expertise   while progressing through AIG’s Actuarial Development Program and actuarial examinations.

Minimum Qualification s Education Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s   degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript   required   upon application).

Program Requirements • Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027. • Summer Intern positions are in-person opportunities, requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week.

Core Qualifications • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Ability   to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications • Preferred Majors include Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics • Completion of, or   demonstrated   progress toward, actuarial examinations   is   preferred.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; exposure to analytical or programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies is a plus. • Demonstrated interest in pursuing an actuarial career and progressing toward professional actuarial credentials.

• Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement. • Excelled in   previous   work experience For applicants in Colorado, Jersey City, and New York   City   the hourly pay range for this position is $ 28.
