  • Strong time management skills and the ability to confidently manage deadlines and deliver projects on time.

Preferred, not required

  • Previous coursework or hands-on experience in a Graphic Design or Visual Communications program.
  • Experience creating a range of digital and print marketing materials.
  • An interest in brand design, marketing, visual storytelling, and creative systems.

The Brand Graphic Design Intern, will gain hands-on experience on a global, collaborative design team, bringing our brand to life across digital and print experiences while building your portfolio with real-world marketing initiatives.

Working closely alongside designers, marketers, and cross-functional partners, you will learn how a global brand maintains consistency across channels and touchpoints.

Through dedicated mentorship and feedback, you will refine your design, communication, and project management skills—gaining invaluable experience balancing creative excellence with business goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do Depending on the needs of the team, you may: • Design and develop a variety of creative assets for digital and print channels. • Execute projects that reflect the Workiva brand and creative standards across a range of formats, including: • Digital and web experiences • Promotional and social advertising • Marketing banners • Event booths and collateral • eBooks and white papers • Presentations and sales materials • Collaborate cross-functionally with members of the Workiva Marketing team and contribute creative ideas and perspectives to projects.

• Help maintain and evolve brand style guidelines, templates, and iconography. • Organize and maintain libraries of approved creative assets and brand resources.

• Refine and design presentations that create a consistent and polished visual identity across sales and marketing materials. • Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback from your design mentor or manager before work is shared with broader stakeholders.

• Gain experience working within established brand standards while learning how to apply creative thinking to solve real business challenges. What You'll Need Minimum Qualifications • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications • Previous coursework or hands-on experience in a Graphic Design or Visual Communications program. • Experience creating a range of digital and print marketing materials.

• An interest in brand design, marketing, visual storytelling, and creative systems. • Experience working collaboratively and incorporating feedback into creative work.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. We work remotely, so clear and consistent communication is essential. • Strong time management skills and the ability to confidently manage deadlines and deliver projects on time.

• Comfort working independently in a remote environment and managing your own time and priorities. • A self-motivated mindset with a strong drive for action, results, learning, and continuous improvement.

• The ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, processes, and priorities simultaneously.

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions • Minimal travel • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office Location: This internship is primarily a remote opportunity.
