You will be working with experienced engineers who are eager to share their expertise in flight control embedded software systems. As part of a small team, you will contribute to the development and verification of the latest generation of aerospace software.

Design, develop, and test safety critical flight control software Ensure compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality and reliable software solutions What You Will Learn: Understand the basics of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware components in aerospace systems Gain proficiency in programming languages commonly used in aerospace applications, such as C and Python Learn to use integrated development environments (IDEs), version control systems (e.
g., Git), and other software development tools Gain knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as DO-178C for avionics software Develop problem-solving skills by troubleshooting and debugging software issues that arise during development and testing Qualifications You Must Have: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
