Working alongside experienced underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists, you will help deliver innovative coverage solutions and exceptional client service.

Supported by a global network spanning many countries and   jurisdictions , Specialty Aviation professionals combine deep industry knowledge and technical   expertise   to help clients navigate complex challenges and keep their operations moving forward with confidence How you will   make   an   I mpact AIG’s   S ummer   I nterns are immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company.

During the   9 -week program ,   y ou will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge ,   work ing   with leaders on dynamic projects, with   plenty of   opportunity for challenges,   learning   and achievement.

S ummer   I nterns join one of our   key   business   teams , which   offers   a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment.

In addition to   meaningful on-the-job experiences ,   interns will join instructor - led masterclasses,   hear directly   from senior   leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking   events   and volunteering.

Following completion of   the internship program, interns may be considered for a role in the location where they completed their internship, with the Analyst program beginning in July 2028 .

Responsibilities • Support the evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks across areas such as   aircraft   operators, airports, manufacturers, and airlines.

• Review underwriting submissions, exposure information,   loss   history, and other relevant data to support risk   selection , pricing, and coverage decisions.

• Partner with experienced underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions. • Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.

• Monitor industry trends and emerging aviation risks to support informed underwriting decisions. • Develop technical knowledge of aviation insurance while building analytical, decision-making, and relationship-management skills.

Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s   degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript   required   upon application).
