OVERVIEW: Pratt Miller Production Manufacturing is searching for talented individuals interested in the field of Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.

Internships could run the duration of a few months or last as long as a full year. Pratt Miller is developing the capabilities for low volume production and is seeking an individual with the desire and capability to use Lean Manufacturing concepts to help deliver our products to our customers.

This individual will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with the entire production team and will be engaged with daily activities as well as long term projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop process flow charts Conduct time studies Write detailed work instructions Select assembly tools & equipment Develop plant/cell layouts KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Degree candidate in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Vehicle and system troubleshooting experience Knowledge of wide variety of processes such as Assembly, Fabrication and Machining Experience using 3D CAD programs such as Solidworks or Creo ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: In addition, the ideal candidate must: Be a team player Have great attention to detail Have strong verbal and written communication skills Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation) Have strong work ethic and pride in their workmanship Pay Range: $18.

00 - $37.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
