Bartow, FL 33831. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates. As an Operations Engineering Co-op/Intern, you will provide technical support primarily to plant operations groups from troubleshooting complex systems to optimizing production processes.

Term May 11 to August 21, 2027 Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-44 hours a week on site. 9/80 schedule if applicable What will you do? Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include: Identify and resolve root causes of issues in phosphoric acid processing and production systems.

Evaluate and enhance the performance of unit operations in the Phosphoric Acid department. Observe work during a turnaround outage and participate in equipment inspections.

Participate in the development and implementation of digital tools for operations. Perform duties as assigned. Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), maintenance, automation, lab personnel, and contractors.

Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment. Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

What do you need for this role? Junior level or higher by January 2027 pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. 2.75 GPA or higher 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.

Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.

Basic computer skills are required. Experience working in a team environment is a must. Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.

Effective verbal communication skills is a plus. Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
