What you'll do
- As a Software Engineering, Security & Operations Co-op, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting modern software delivery, application security, and engineering excellence across our global technology organization.
- Working alongside software engineers, platform engineers, and security professionals, you'll help application teams improve deployment frequency, reduce technology risk, and enhance the overall developer experience.
- You'll gain exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), learning how enterprise applications are designed, built, secured, tested, and deployed.
- You'll receive guidance from experienced technical leaders and gain exposure to industry-leading technologies including GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Azure, SonarQube, Snyk, New Relic, and enterprise development platforms.
- As part of our co-op program, you will gain early access to Manulife John Hancock's premier early talent program, GRO, tailored to graduating students.

We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Boston, Massachusetts, USA office for a 6-month co-op, running from January 5th – June 24th, 2027. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
