SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers.

Join our organization and experience the Systems engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers, chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, test and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent to the systems lifecycle. You may support some of the following types of activities: Perform Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.

Evaluate test results for requirements compliance. Create/modify documentation in support of design reviews and in preparation for test events. Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, Design Verification Execution Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.

Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements. Support Missions: Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.

Qualifications You Must Have Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. Academic or internship experience that included hands-on testing of electronic equipment Experience in troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
