Working Student Prototyping - Drones (m/w/d)

At Alpine Eagle, we’re building the future of counter-drone defence. We’re a fast-growing, international deep-tech company working at the intersection of aerospace engineering, defence systems, and machine learning.

Our goal: create the world’s first swarm-based, airborne counter-drone system. Modern conflicts show how quickly drones are reshaping the battlefield.

Threats are rising, and today’s solutions aren’t keeping pace. We’re here to change that. Alpine Eagle isn’t just a defence company. It’s a mission. Backed by an international team, strong funding, and a bold vision, we’re looking for people who want to shape the next generation of aerial security and build something that truly matters.

As a Working Student in Prototyping, you will support the development and integration of hardware components for our drone platforms and counter-UAS systems.

You will work closely with our flight test team and engineering leads, helping to design, build, modify, and test prototypes. This is a highly practical role for someone who loves building things!

🎯 How you will make an impact: • Support the mechanical and electrical prototyping of drone systems • Assist in CAD design of components and assemblies • Manufacture and modify parts using 3D printing and workshop tools • Perform cable harnessing and wiring work • Integrate electronic components, radio links, and communication modules • Support hardware integration and preparation for flight testing • Assist during field and flight test activities • Document prototypes, iterations, and improvements ✅ What you need to be successful: • Currently enrolled student in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar) • Strong hands-on experience in building and tinkering (e.

g., model aircraft clubs, university design teams, personal projects) • Experience with CAD software • Familiar with 3D printing and basic workshop tools • Practical knowledge of electronics integration and wiring • Interest in drones, UAV systems, and counter-UAS technologies • Structured, independent, and proactive working style • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment At Alpine Eagle, we are committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
