Astranis is going to change that. We are building the next generation of smaller, lower-cost telecommunications satellites to bring the world online. And to pull it off we have to reinvent microwave radio systems in space using SDRs.

Role • Work with Design, Production, Quality, and Test engineering teams to develop inspection and verifications procedures • Support root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to mitigate non-conformance issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for continuous improvement in quality • Support process and systems development to improve production quality • Develop dashboards, metrics, and visuals to help identify and monitor factory health Requirements • A passion for hardware development and manufacturing systems, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Must be onsite 5 days a week Bonus • Previous internship or coursework experience in a similar role • Experience with quality management systems or hardware manufacturing • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL • Direct electrical or mechanical design experience • Demonstrated ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure The base pay for this position is $29.
