Mechanical Engineering Intern (2027)

About Gravitics At Gravitics, we're building space. We build the infrastructure for a thriving space economy, enabling humanity beyond Earth. Our vision is bold but we execute.

We design and manufacture the large-scale structures that power human and robotic activity in Earth orbit and beyond. If you're ready to imagine and realize a new era in space, embrace relentless learning and innovation, execute and build the final frontier, Gravitics is the place for you.

Let's build space, together. About the Role We are seeking mechanical interns to join our 2027 Winter class (Jan-March 2027). Our interns receive high ownership and guidance with challenging and meaningful projects that are critical components to the success of our mission.

You will partner with and learn from top professionals in the aerospace industry. This will be a 10-12 week internship in our facility in the greater Seattle area.

You’ll be in the same location where we are pulling in our structures, mechanisms, propulsion, life support systems, avionics, power systems, thermal systems, software, and associated testing.

If you are driven, passionate, collaborative, hands on, and want to grow your technical skills – join us and help enable our expansion into the solar system.

Internship Disciplines • Mechanical Test Engineering • Motor Control Engineering About You You’re a successful candidate if you are a giver, not a taker and have a desire to support your team in all the areas to mission success.

The strongest candidates have appreciation for the physics underlying engineering while also seeing their developments built with their hands and bias to action, testing, and execution.
