The Crypto Operations team is passionate about delivering an excellent end-customer experience and mitigating firm risk while supporting cutting-edge crypto products.

As a Crypto Operations Intern, you will serve as a technical product and operations expert, owning processes critical to maintaining Robinhood’s crypto products while supporting product teams in improving and scaling our offerings.

You’ll partner with specialized subject-matter experts on the operations desks—including Trading, Money Movements, Account Servicing, Product Operations and Risk Management—to identify optimization opportunities, support critical day-to-day processes, and provide feedback loops that inform product development.

You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product Management, Engineering, and Finance to ensure operational readiness, efficient processes, and a seamless customer experience.

What you’ll do • Support critical business functions, such as monitoring order and execution health, blockchain network performance, and liquidity management • Handle and troubleshoot complex customer escalations, supporting root-cause analysis and partnering with product teams to prioritize fixes • Identify inefficiencies in operational processes, translate operational needs into product requirements, and collaborate with product operations to design scalable solutions • Contribute to the design and enhancement of internal tools by providing feedback, testing new workflows, and partnering with engineering to ensure tools meet operational needs • Support product launches and feature rollouts by ensuring operational readiness and developing clear process documentation What you bring • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027/Summer 2028 • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences • Operational and product-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making • Interest and passion for crypto, blockchain technology, and emerging financial products What we offer • Market competitive compensation structure • Quarterly lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not • Time away including company holidays, paid time off, and sick time • Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.

The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
