What you'll own
- You’ll learn how data, technology, and risk management intersect in brokerage operations and work on projects that use analytics, process improvement, and light automation to improve performance, accuracy, and customer trust.
- Work across Robinhood Financial (Introducing Broker) and Robinhood Securities (Clearing Broker) to learn the many aspects that comprise the operations of FINRA-registered broker-dealers
- Partner with subject matter experts to analyze operational data, identify efficiency opportunities, and make process improvement recommendations, including automation and dashboard enhancements
- Support small-scale technical projects such as reconciling datasets, improving data quality, or building Business Intelligence dashboards using tools like Retool or Superset
Requirements and eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028
- Analytical mindset with experience performing analytics using SQL or Python
- Curiosity about how brokerage operations, risk management, and market infrastructure work together in a fintech environment
- Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with cross-functional teams

You’ll learn how data, technology, and risk management intersect in brokerage operations and work on projects that use analytics, process improvement, and light automation to improve performance, accuracy, and customer trust.

What you’ll do • Work across Robinhood Financial (Introducing Broker) and Robinhood Securities (Clearing Broker) to learn the many aspects that comprise the operations of FINRA-registered broker-dealers • Partner with subject matter experts to analyze operational data, identify efficiency opportunities, and make process improvement recommendations, including automation and dashboard enhancements • Support small-scale technical projects such as reconciling datasets, improving data quality, or building Business Intelligence dashboards using tools like Retool or Superset • Deliver a capstone project applying analytical and problem-solving skills to a real operational challenge, culminating in a presentation to senior leaders What you bring • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028 • Analytical mindset with experience performing analytics using SQL or Python • Curiosity about how brokerage operations, risk management, and market infrastructure work together in a fintech environment • Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with cross-functional teams • Intellectual agility — comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and thinking critically about processes What we offer • Market competitive compensation structure • Quarterly lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not • Time away including company holidays, paid time off, and sick time • Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.
The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
