About the internship
We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Recruiter Intern to support our growing team by sourcing candidates, managing recruitment activities, and ensuring a smooth hiring experience from initial outreach to joining. As an HR Recruiter Intern, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including identifying potential candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate records, and ensuring successful onboarding of selected candidates.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has strong communication skills, and wants hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Candidate Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Source relevant candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, college networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Identify and attract suitable candidates based on job requirements.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Reach out to potential candidates and communicate relevant job opportunities.
B. Screening & Interview Coordination
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability, communication skills, experience, and interest.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely coordination.
- Share interview details, follow up with candidates, and collect feedback.
C. End-to-End Recruitment Management
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to candidate joining.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate salary discussions, offer communication, and documentation as required.
- Follow up with selected candidates to ensure offer acceptance and joining confirmation.
- Maintain a healthy candidate experience and minimise drop-offs during recruitment.
D. Pre-Joining & Onboarding
- Collect and verify required joining documents.
- Coordinate joining dates and communicate reporting instructions.
- Follow up with selected candidates before their joining date.
- Coordinate with the HR and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates who have joined and those who are yet to join.
E. Recruitment Reporting & HR Operations
- Maintain updated candidate databases, trackers, and recruitment reports.
- Track recruitment metrics such as applications sourced, candidates shortlisted, interviews scheduled, offers released, and successful joinings.
- Share regular hiring updates with the HR team and hiring managers.
- Ensure candidate information and recruitment records are handled confidentially.
