Stock Analysis & Research Executive - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Analyze listed companies across various sectors using annual reports, investor presentations, conference call transcripts, and regulatory filings.

2. Study standalone and consolidated financial statements to assess business performance and financial health. 3. Build and maintain financial models using Microsoft Excel.

4. Evaluate key financial ratios, cash flows, profitability, capital allocation, and valuation metrics. 5. Track corporate actions including buybacks, dividends, mergers, demergers, rights issues, and preferential allotments.

6. Monitor shareholding patterns, promoter activity, institutional ownership, and insider transactions. 7. Research industry trends, competitors, and macroeconomic factors affecting businesses.

8. Prepare concise investment reports highlighting key risks, opportunities, and valuation. 9. Track portfolio companies and provide periodic updates on material developments.

9. Assist in screening companies based on predefined investment criteria. 10. Maintain organized databases of financial and market information. Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, commerce, economics, accounting, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2. Thorough understanding of stock trends through technical analysis and research. • 3. Knowledge of gauging the fundamentals of the company to determine a long term investment decision.

• 4. English proficiency, spoken and written, is a prerequisite. • 5. Ability to join the company full-time if an offer is made after the internship period is an absolute prerequisite.

• 6. Strong interest in equity markets and long-term investing. • 7. Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. • 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with financial modeling is an advantage.

• 9. Ability to interpret data and think analytically. • 10. Strong written and verbal communication skills. • 11. High attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• 12. Knowledge of valuation methods such as DCF, EV/EBITDA, P/E, and sum-of-the-parts. • 13. Familiarity with NSE/BSE filings, annual reports, and financial databases.

• 14. Basic understanding of corporate finance and capital markets. • 15. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • 16. Strong research and internet information-gathering skills.
