About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Monitor breaking and important news developments and identify stories suitable for Web & App notifications.
2. Create short, engaging, and accurate notification headlines that drive user engagement while maintaining editorial standards.
3. Manage and publish news notifications across Web & App on time.
4. Coordinate with content/editorial and product teams for breaking news, trending stories, and priority updates.
5. Support content updates and publishing across digital platforms.
6. Coordinate content changes for events, campaigns, and special initiatives.
7. Ensure notifications and content are published accurately and within defined timelines.
8. Conduct basic quality checks of notifications, headlines, links, and content after publishing.
9. Maintain daily trackers and reports for notifications and assigned operational tasks.

• 2. Good command of English and headline writing.
• 3. Ability to identify what makes a story important, timely, and newsworthy.
• 4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• 5. Good communication and coordination skills.
• 6. Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
• 7. Willingness to learn CMS, notification tools, and digital publishing platforms.
• 8. Candidate must have a laptop for the internship.
