About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Review, vet, and redline agreements before execution customer MSAs, SaaS subscription agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor / partner contracts.

Flag and summarize key risk clauses limitation of liability, indemnity, IP ownership, confidentiality, data protection, termination, auto-renewal, and payment terms into short, decision-ready notes.

Compare client-paper contracts against AssetCues standard positions and prepare deviation / issue lists for negotiation.

Draft first-cut documents from templates NDAs, amendments, renewal letters, and simple addendums.

Maintain the contract repository and tracker versions, execution status, renewal and expiry dates, and key obligations.

Help build and maintain standard templates (MSA, NDA, SOW, DPA) and a clause library of preferred and fallback positions.

Conduct legal research on specific questions IT / SaaS contracting, data protection (DPDP Act; GDPR basics), stamp duty, and jurisdiction-specific requirements for India, UAE, and US contracts.

Coordinate with external counsel where required and track open legal matters to closure.

Assist with routine compliance documentation and client / vendor onboarding paperwork.

Stipend

Other requirements

• • Final-year law student (BA LLB / BBA LLB / LLB) or a recent graduate seeking hands-on corporate-commercial experience.
• • Prior internship in a law firm’s corporate / commercial practice or an in-house legal team is preferred.
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• • Available for a full-time internship of 3–6 months.
• • Ownership, discretion, and genuine interest in technology and SaaS contracting
