Role overview
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Basic CAD work on our devices: part modelling, simple assemblies, drawings, and design revisions alongside our engineering team 2.
Design our packaging, including cartons, inserts, labels and instructions for use, prepared correctly for print 3. Design brochures, one-pagers, exhibition material and campaign creative, working within our brand guidelines 4.
Design the user interface for our app and website, from wireframe through to a handoff a developer can build from 5. Help keep our brand consistent across everything we publish, and extend the guidelines where they fall short 6.

A portfolio spanning both product and graphic design. Please include a link with your application; we care far more about this than about your CV • 2.
Working knowledge of a CAD package such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or an equivalent • 3. Competence in design tools: Figma for interface work, and Illustrator or InDesign for print and marketing material • 4.
An understanding of print production basics: bleed, colour, material, and what actually survives a print run • 5. Care for the end user. Our products are handled by nurses in busy wards and by anxious parents at home, so clarity beats cleverness • 6.
Open to critique and able to iterate quickly • 7. Currently studying or recently graduated in product design, industrial design, communication design or a related field • 8.
Available for a 6-month full-time paid internship in Bangalore About Company: Bempu Health develops technologies to improve health outcomes for newborns.
Our products include a bracelet to detect hypothermia in premature babies, and clip to detect if a baby has stopped breathing, and a shoe to help restart breathing in sick babies.
