Academic Research & Content Development Internship

Key responsibilities: 1. Conduct detailed research on assigned Junior Model UN committees and agendas. 2. Develop educational background guides for individual committees.

3. Research historical, social, political, scientific, environmental, and economic context relevant to each agenda. 4. Identify key issues, challenges, stakeholders, developments, and possible solutions.

5. Research countries, organizations, personalities, institutions, and relevant entities. 6. Develop committee-specific research briefs and supporting academic material.

7. Simplify complex topics for students in Grades 5-7.Ensure material is factually accurate, balanced, age-appropriate, and educationally meaningful. 8.

Develop country/portfolio-specific research where required. 9. Research case studies, statistics, initiatives, and success stories. 10. Assist in creating study guides, delegate workbooks, briefing documents, worksheets, quizzes, activities, and discussion prompts.

11. Support pre-conference learning and delegate training content. 12. Review existing content for accuracy, clarity, relevance, and age appropriateness.

13. Conduct broader research on education, youth initiatives, sustainability, technology, innovation, leadership, and related themes. 14. Prepare research summaries and briefing notes for internal use.
