Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: A. Delegate marketing & registration: 1. Identify and reach out to target delegates, physicians, specialists, hospital administrators, and allied healthcare professionals.
2. Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to drive conference registrations. 3. Meet healthcare professionals at clinics, hospitals, and industry gatherings to promote upcoming events and secure sign-ups.
4. Maintain accurate delegate databases and track registration progress against targets. B. Sponsorship marketing & sales: 1. Research potential sponsors (pharmaceutical companies, medical device firms, healthcare service providers) and build a prospect pipeline.
2. Prepare and present sponsorship proposals; follow up to close agreements. 3. Coordinate with sponsors on deliverables such as branding, booth placement, and speaking slots.
4. Assist with invoicing and ensure sponsor commitments are fulfilled before and during events. C. Research & market intelligence: 1. Conduct desk research on industry trends, competitor conferences, and emerging topics relevant to the healthcare sector.
2. Identify key opinion leaders and potential speakers for conference agendas. 3. Gather feedback from delegates and sponsors post-event to inform future planning.
D. Relationship management: 1. Serve as a point of contact for delegates and sponsors throughout the event lifecycle. 2. Build and nurture long-term relationships with healthcare professionals to encourage repeat attendance and referrals.
3. Represent the organization professionally at external meetings, site visits, and networking events.
