Journalism Internship

Key Responsibilities 1. Interview Outreach and Calling - Primary Responsibility Proactively identify relevant professionals, experts, founders, senior executives, and industry representatives for interviews.

Make outbound calls to introduce the publication and request interviews. Speak confidently with senior professionals and explain the purpose of the interview.

Follow up with prospective interviewees through phone, WhatsApp, and email. Coordinate and schedule interviews. Maintain a database of potential interviewees and track outreach and follow-ups.

Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and sources. Be comfortable making a high volume of calls every day as part of the role. 2.

Journalism and Content Conduct interviews with industry professionals and experts. Research and identify relevant news, trends, developments, and stories.

Write news articles, interviews, features, explainers, and industry updates. Develop new story ideas and pitch them to the editorial team. Conduct online research using credible and reliable sources.

Verify facts, statistics, names, quotes, and other information before publication. Monitor industry news, company announcements, social media, government releases, and other relevant sources.

Attend industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and press briefings when required. Assist with editing and publishing content on digital platforms.
