Financial Modelling & Valuation Internship

As a Financial Modelling & Valuation Intern at Fin Maverick, you'll support practical financial analysis and valuation work, turning research and data into clear, well-structured insights for the team.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Build and update Excel financial models using provided data and assumptions, keeping formulas organized and outputs easy to review.

2. Assist with valuation analyses by applying appropriate methods and documenting key assumptions, calculations, and limitations. 3. Review financial statements and operating data to identify trends, unusual movements, and questions for further investigation.

4. Research companies, sectors, and market developments, summarizing relevant findings and citing reliable sources. 5. Run sensitivity and scenario analyses to show how changes in assumptions may affect model outputs and valuation estimates.

6. Check models for formula errors, consistency, and accuracy, and help reconcile outputs with source data. 7. Prepare concise tables, charts, and written summaries that communicate analytical findings clearly.

• 3. Candidates with basic knowledge of Excel and financial concepts. • 4. Candidates with familiarity with ChatGPT, Python, or data analysis tools will have an advantage.
