DevOps Intern Day-to-Day Responsibilities 1. Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments. 2. Deploy applications and services and troubleshoot deployment issues.

3. Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. 4. Monitor application and infrastructure health, uptime, performance, and logs.

5. Investigate and resolve production issues and deployment failures. 6. Manage servers, cloud infrastructure, domains, DNS, SSL, and environment configurations.

7. Work with Docker and containerized applications. 8. Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripts and tooling. 9. Manage application secrets, environment variables, and configuration securely.

10. Maintain and improve infrastructure documentation. 11. Help developers troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and environment-related issues.

12. Set up alerts and monitoring for critical services. 13. Review resource usage and identify opportunities to improve performance and infrastructure cost.

14. Implement backups and basic disaster-recovery practices. 15. Maintain access, permissions, and infrastructure security. 16. Participate in release and deployment planning.

17. Continuously improve the reliability and automation of the development workflow. • * Basic understanding of networking concepts such as **DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, domains, and SSL**. • * Familiarity with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and debugging production issues.

• * Ability to write basic **Shell/Bash scripts** and automate repetitive tasks. • * Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to investigate issues independently.

• * Comfortable working with minimal guidance and taking ownership of infrastructure-related tasks. • * Curious about how systems work behind the application layer.

• * Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, GitHub Actions, Nginx, Kubernetes, or Terraform is a plus. • * Personal projects, homelabs, GitHub repositories, Open Source contributions, or deployed applications are highly valued.
