Healthcare Research & Regulatory Intern

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research primary-care EMR/EHR workflows and document real-world clinical processes, including how information is captured in encounters, clinical notes, diagnoses, medications, referrals, and labs.
2. Study interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, and CCD/CCDA, and research HIPAA, privacy, security, consent, auditability, and healthcare compliance requirements.
3. Review how EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health, and athenahealth approach common workflows, and translate research findings into product requirements, workflow documentation, and recommendations for MedFlow AI.

Other requirements

• 1. Academic or professional background in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration/Technology, Pharmacy, Public Health/Digital Health, Healthcare Regulatory Affairs, Biomedical/Health Sciences, Medicine/Nursing, or Clinical Research/Healthcare IT
• 2. Hands-on exposure to an EMR/EHR system, healthcare workflows, or clinical/healthcare research is a plus
• 3. Genuine interest in how AI and technology can improve healthcare delivery
