Software Development Intern – Full Stack & Mobile - Internship

About the internship

ASTRORIZE is looking for trained and technically prepared freshers to join our product engineering team as software development interns. You will work on a real-world technology platform involving mobile applications, web applications, backend services, administration systems, payments, notifications, real-time communication, and cloud infrastructure. We are specifically looking for trained freshers and early-career developers with practical exposure to JavaScript and TypeScript.

Technology stack

1. Mobile: React Native, TypeScript, Android & iOS, REST API integration, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and real-time communication.
2. Web: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, responsive web application development, and API integration
3. Admin: React.js, TypeScript, RBAC, and API-driven dashboards
4. Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, Webhooks, event-driven workflows, authentication & authorization, real-time communication, and API validation and error handling
5. Database & Caching: PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, SQL, Redis, and caching and real-time data handling
6. Cloud & Services: AWS, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and SMTP/transactional email
7. Product Integrations: Razorpay, Payout APIs, LiveKit Cloud, real-time chat, voice & video communication, and live streaming

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop features across mobile, web, and backend applications.
2. Build and integrate REST APIs.
3. Develop React Native applications for Android and iOS.
4. Develop web applications using React and Next.js.
5. Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
6. Work with PostgreSQL and Redis.
7. Integrate third-party APIs and services.
8. Implement webhook-based workflows.
9. Work with payment, notification, and communication integrations.
10. Debug frontend, backend, and API issues.
11. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
12. Participate in code reviews.
13. Write basic automated tests and perform API testing.
14. Use Git/GitHub for version control.
15. Investigate bugs and identify root causes.
16. Work closely with the product and engineering team.

Important hiring note

1. This position is specifically intended for trained freshers and early-career developers with relevant hands-on technical exposure.
2. Generic programming knowledge without practical exposure to the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem will not be sufficient.
