Law/Legal Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Conduct legal research on issues relating to intellectual property, artificial intelligence, technology law, data protection, media and entertainment law, digital businesses, and commercial law.

2. Research and analyse recent judgments of the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities. 3. Track statutory amendments, rules, regulations, government notifications, regulatory circulars, consultation papers, policy developments and other significant legal and regulatory developments.

4. Prepare structured legal research notes, case summaries, legal issue briefs, regulatory updates and comparative legal analyses. 5. Identify and analyse relevant statutory provisions, judicial precedents and regulatory materials in relation to specific legal issues and research assignments.

6. Verify legal propositions and research findings using primary sources, including judgments, statutes, rules, regulations, government notifications and official regulatory publications.

7. Undertake comparative legal research on emerging issues relating to artificial intelligence regulation, intellectual property, data governance, intermediary liability, digital platforms, technology transactions and other areas of technology law.

8. Review existing legal research and identify subsequent judicial, legislative or regulatory developments that may affect the legal position. 9. Assist in maintaining case-law trackers, regulatory trackers and structured legal research databases across identified practice areas.

10. Support the preparation of practitioner-oriented legal analyses and research outputs on contemporary legal and regulatory issues.
