Editorial Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: News Publishing: Research, update, and publish the latest news on our WordPress websites, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timely publication.

WordPress Management: Manage daily website operations, upload articles, format content, add images, update categories and tags, and maintain a consistent publishing workflow.

Website Design & Customisation: Assist in designing and improving WordPress websites, news pages, article layouts, and other website elements to enhance user experience.

Hindi & English Content: Draft, edit, translate, and proofread news articles and digital content in both Hindi and English, maintaining language quality and factual accuracy.

AI Tools & Research: Use AI tools for news research, content organisation, translation, proofreading, summarisation, and workflow automation while independently verifying facts and sources.

SEO & Digital Publishing: Optimise articles using appropriate headlines, keywords, meta descriptions, internal links, and images to improve search visibility.

Fact-Checking & Source Verification: Verify information using reliable sources, identify discrepancies, and ensure that published content meets editorial standards.

News Monitoring: Track current affairs, defence, national security, international relations, and other relevant developments to identify important stories for publication.

Editorial Coordination: Work with the editorial and technology teams to maintain publishing schedules, improve content quality, and support the growth of our digital media ecosystem.

Website Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve website functionality, content presentation, and digital workflows using WordPress, AI tools, and other relevant technologies.
