Pharmacovigilance & AI Extraction Validation Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Review AI-generated extractions from biomedical literature (abstracts/full text) and compare extracted safety fields (product, adverse event, patient, seriousness, etc.

) against the source to mark correct, incorrect, or uncertain outcomes. 2. Validate AI extractions from social/digital monitoring content against original posts and metadata; document false positives, missed valid cases, and entity or context errors in a structured validation log.

3. Work with the product team to report validated extraction issues, track corrections and re-runs, and confirm that fixed extractions meet PV and source accuracy expectations before they are accepted as resolved.

Candidates pursuing or recently completed pharmacy (BPharm/MPharm), life sciences, biotechnology, nursing (clinical), or pharmacovigilance-related postgraduate diplomas are preferred.

• 2. Prior exposure to literature monitoring, ICSR or case intake, or medical writing (internship, CRO, pharma, or academic project) is a plus. • 3. Interest in regulated healthcare software and human-in-the-loop AI; willingness to follow confidentiality and data-handling guidelines for test and demo content.
