UX & CX Design Intern

You'll design how customers interact with an AI agent, from the first welcome message to a completed task. Your work will shape what the agent says, what it asks, which choices it presents, and how it helps the customer take the next step.

You'll work with our product and engineering teams to bring these journeys to life. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understand each business's customers and policies, and map the journeys they need to complete.

2. Write welcome messages, conversation starters, follow-up questions, confirmations, and error messages in each brand's voice. 3. Decide where and when to offer help based on customer intent, page context, and available information.

4. Design agent flows covering decisions, actions, customer confirmations, alternative paths, and human handoffs. 5. Create journey maps, flow diagrams, sample conversations, and simple prototypes in Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar tools.

6. Help configure and test journeys with the team, including unclear requests, missing information, unavailable products, and failed actions. 7. Review conversations, customer feedback, and journey data to identify friction and improve the experience.

Examples of journeys you could design: 1. Help a shopper choose the right product or size and move toward a purchase. 2. Guide a customer through booking a service, confirming details, or rescheduling.

3. Help someone track an order, request a return, or manage a subscription. • 1. Strong written English and an ability to write clear, concise, natural customer-facing messages. • 2. Structured thinking: you can break a customer problem into steps and consider different paths.

• 3. An interest in UX, customer experience, conversational design, and how people make decisions online. • 4. Comfort with a design or flow-mapping tool, plus a willingness to learn new tools.

• 5. Attention to detail, curiosity about AI agents, and an ability to improve your work through feedback. • 6. A portfolio, academic project, or personal project that shows how you think about user journeys.

• 7. Students, recent graduates, and early-career applicants are welcome. • Good to have: • 1. Exposure to UX writing, customer research, ecommerce, chatbots, prompt writing, or no-code workflow tools.
