Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understand and test Ciphercode's Warehouse Management System and supply chain workflows from an industry user's perspective, covering receiving, put-away, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and traceability.

2. Create practical warehouse and supply chain test scenarios and validate the system against real-world operational requirements. 3. Research and benchmark leading WMS and supply chain software solutions to identify standard features, workflows, best practices, and functional gaps.

4. Document test results, workflow gaps, usability issues, and recommended product improvements for the engineering and product teams. 5. Work with the product team to translate warehouse and supply chain requirements into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria.

6. Validate inventory movement, SKU/batch/lot/serial-level tracking, warehouse transactions, reports, and supply chain traceability across different scenarios.

7. Research emerging practices in warehouse automation, supply chain digitization, barcode/QR/RFID systems, and enterprise logistics technology. 8. Support product documentation, process mapping, test cases, and demonstrations for enterprise customer use cases.

Pursuing or recently completed a BBA, MBA, PG Diploma, bachelor's degree, or master's degree with a specialization in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse management, operations management, or a closely related discipline.

• 2. Strong academic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, distribution, and end-to-end supply chain processes. • 3.

Familiarity with WMS concepts such as receiving, put-away, bin/location management, picking, packing, dispatch, cycle counting, batch/lot/serial tracking, and returns.

• 4. Interest in enterprise software and the ability to understand, test, and critically evaluate digital supply chain systems. • 5. Ability to research and compare WMS/SCM products and translate findings into structured product recommendations.

• 6. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and process documentation skills. • 7. Exposure to ERP/WMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar systems is an advantage but not mandatory.

• 8. Candidates with academic projects, internships, or practical exposure involving warehouses, logistics, inventory, or supply chain technology will be preferred.
