Research And Innovation - Internship (WFH & Part Time)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Identify and evaluate relevant international and European research grant opportunities focused on AI healthcare, active aging, and companion robotics.

2. Initiate and coordinate strategic outreach to university labs, medical institutions, and professors across the EU and UK to explore research consortia.

3. Translate technical engineering concepts into formal research narratives, scientific abstracts, and project justifications for grant applications. 4.

Coordinate submission timelines, eligibility criteria, and compliance documentation across funding bodies (e.g., Horizon Europe, national research councils).

5. Work alongside the engineering leadership team to align research funding goals directly with product development roadmaps. Currently pursuing or holding a degree (MSc, PhD, or final-year Bachelor's) in Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related discipline.

• 2. Demonstrated experience in academic literature review, scientific writing, or contributing to research publications/technical whitepapers. • 3. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to initiate and hold academic discussions with university researchers and clinical faculty.

• 4. Genuine interest in healthcare AI, robotics, and emerging medical technologies. • 5. Self-directed and organized, comfortable tracking multi-partner outreach and proposal deadlines in a remote environment.
