Research Associate Intern

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Track and analyse political, policy, governance, and socio-economic developments across India.

2. Conduct primary and secondary research using surveys, interviews, questionnaires, public data, news sources, and other relevant sources. 3. Support qualitative and quantitative research for ongoing projects.

4. Collect, organise, clean, and analyse data to identify relevant trends and insights. 5. Assist in understanding the impact of national and state-level developments at the regional and hyperlocal level.

6. Prepare research notes, reports, presentations, briefs, frameworks, and other project deliverables. 7. Support the team in electoral, political, governance, and public opinion research.

8. Conduct fact-checking, data validation, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of reports and deliverables. 9. Assist the team with day-to-day research and project requirements as they arise.

Strong interest and awareness of Indian politics, governance, public policy, and electoral dynamics. • 2. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

• 3. Basic understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods. • 4. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sense of data and information.

• 5. Ability to conduct structured research and work with multiple sources of information. • 6. Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint.

• 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • 8. Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work across different types of assignments.
