About the internship

We are looking for an Interior Design & Vendor Coordination Intern to assist with the renovation and redesign of our office.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Assist with office space planning, interior design concepts, layouts, and design requirements.
  2. Research and identify suitable vendors for furniture, carpentry, electrical, civil work, d cor, and other renovation requirements.
  3. Communicate with vendors, explain requirements, and coordinate with them throughout the project.
  4. Collect, compare, and evaluate vendor quotations and material options.
  5. Discuss pricing, timelines, and deliverables with vendors and assist with negotiations.
  6. Coordinate with multiple vendors and follow up to ensure work is completed within the required timelines.
  7. Visit vendor locations and project sites whenever required.
  8. Monitor the progress and quality of ongoing work and report updates to the team.
  9. Coordinate between the internal team, vendors, and other service providers.
  10. Assist in managing project-related documentation, quotations, vendor details, and requirements.
  11. Use tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant design software for planning and modifications.

Note: This role involves both interior design and hands-on vendor/project coordination. We are specifically looking for someone comfortable speaking with vendors, discussing requirements, comparing quotations, negotiating prices, and following up on execution - not someone interested only in the design aspect.

Stipend structure

Fixed pay: ₹ 10,000 - 12,000 /month

Incentive pay: ₹ 1,000 - 3,000 /month
