About The internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Find and reach potential supporters:
- HNI/individual donors: Research individuals, companies, and foundations who might want to support our work, and reach out to them
- Crowdfunding: Prepare and design a crowdfunding campaign, including the campaign page, content, and promotion
- Foundations and grants: Identify grant opportunities, track their deadlines, and help prepare and submit applications
- Earned revenue: Support school partnership and fee conversations that help build long-term financial stability
- CSR partnerships: Research companies with education or skilling CSR programs, understand their funding timelines, and begin outreach
B. Help tell our story:
- Help improve pitch decks, one-pagers, and proposals for different audiences
- Use existing materials, including data, impact, and story, to make these stronger
C. Own outreach and tracking:
- Draft cold emails, follow-ups, and meeting prep
- Keep track of who has been contacted and where each conversation stands, in a simple CRM sheet

Aastra LABS Skill Foundation is a Bengaluru-based education and skilling nonprofit on a mission to build world-class, hands-on creator education and job-ready skills for students from marginalized communities and under-resourced schools.
