As a company, E-Space does not believe in sticking to the path that has already been trodden. We are encountering new problems every day that need new ways of thinking. At E-Space, we use a first principles approach to solving tough technical challenges, and we look at problems differently. Most aerospace internships hand you one project, one team, and a report-out slide at the end of summer. E-Space is different: we’re a vertically integrated space company building spacecraft manufacturing capability from the ground up in Arlington, TX, and we’re writing the playbook, rather than following someone else’s. That means our interns aren’t boxed into a single lane. Our previous interns have worked across multiple disciplines in a single cohort, pitched and built their own passion projects, and watched ideas they proposed become hardware that flies, not something that gets shelved after a final presentation. If you want the mission and scale of a rapidly scaling aerospace and defense company without layers of process that come with it, this is where you should build it yourself!
Background We are looking for Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace,. Computer Engineering) and Computer Science majors or a related field to work across any of the following: • Aerospace / Mechanical • Electrical / Electronics • Radio Frequency • Embedded Systems / FPGA • Software • AI/ML and autonomy • Systems Engineering • Integration & Test • Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering
E-Space Intern opportunities are a great fit for you if you are interested in opportunities that provide: • Opportunities to work across the full spacecraft lifecycle: design, build, integration, and test. • Real ownership on projects, not just observation. • Direct access to experienced engineers and leadership from day one. • The chance to bring your own idea and see it become something real in one summer!
