As a CET Intern, you will: Work onsite at our datacenters in Sydney. Carry out basic operational tasks such as site rounds, recording observations, and taking measurements under supervision.

Monitor and inspect facility equipment (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety systems) and report abnormal conditions. Use our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track assets and manage work orders.

Assist with emergency monitoring and response following established procedures. Support incident investigations by gathering data and contributing to root-cause analysis.

Participate in planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, including preparing materials and administrative tasks. Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot complex systems.

Document maintenance and troubleshooting activities and escalate issues as needed. Contribute to developing Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safe operations.

Conduct technical research on relevant topics to enhance your knowledge. High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems You need to be an Australian National or, have residency and you must be eligible to work in Australia.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Completed or studying towards a qualification in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or related qualification.

Electrical or mechanical engineer diploma level 2 Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.

Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.

Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills. Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
