  • Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed an accredited Medical Assistant school/training program
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication)

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)

Collaborates closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Delivers direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities, and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

The Medical Assistant Intern is often the first point of contact for patient care and is responsible for both administrative and patient care duties. This role performs basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and other routine tasks, typically working on standardized assignments.
