What you'll do

  • Find the next opportunity. Dig into player behavior to find gaps, estimate how much each one is worth, and bring forward recommendations in priority order.
  • Track the competition. Study new launches, engagement tactics, and monetization strategies across the market, and explain what they mean for our roadmap.
  • Advocate for players while weighing business goals. Be the voice of the player in product discussions and model the expected business outcomes from proposed features.
  • Turn player data into decisions. Review how features and events performed against their goals after launch, pull out lessons we can reuse, and recommend what to keep, change, or cut.
  • Present your work. Finish the internship with a presentation to Apex product leadership.

Product Manager Intern, MBA Level (Apex Legends)

We're looking for a Product Management Intern to join the Apex Legends team. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an MBA or Master’s program in the Summer of 2027 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.

Required qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master's or MBA program during Summer 2027, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028
  • Available to work full-time during Summer 2027 for 12 weeks hybrid or onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Preferred qualifications

  • You play live-service games and have opinions about why they succeed or fail (Apex experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel or Sheets; SQL or a similar tool is a plus
  • Prior experience in product management, consulting, analytics, strategy, or the games industry
  • A clear writer and communicator who can bring structure to an ambiguous problem

At this time, we are considering MBA or Master's students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Pay Transparency - North America

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$37 - $58 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
