Job Summary As the Software Developer Intern, you will perform minor code changes to correct software errors. Job Description We are looking for a Software Developer Intern .
This role is a full-time internship and is remote . The internship dates are June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027 . This internship is a full-time opportunity requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week .
Candidates must be available during core business hours for the entire 9-week duration of the program. Please note that all work must be performed within the United States.
What You'll Do • Develop front-end features and components using Vue.js • Add accessibility-compliant code to ensure WCAG standards and inclusive front-end experiences • Debug both front-end and backend applications to identify, analyze, and resolve issues • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing web applications • Perform backend development using Eclipse, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture • Integrate backend services with PostgreSQL databases • Execute CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) on database tables for development and troubleshooting What You'll Need Required: • Currently enrolled in a college degree program in an Information Technology-related major • Some programming experience in Java through coursework or prior internships • Current Junior with a 3.
5 GPA or higher Preferred: • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js • Familiarity with Spring Boot or microservices architecture • Exposure to PostgreSQL or other relational databases • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices • Experience using version control tools such as Git Physical Demands • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time • Ability to conduct tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor EEO Statement CAI is committed to equal employment opportunity.
