We are looking for an Android Platform Software Engineer to develop and maintain Android platform software for NVIDIA products. In this role, you will bring up new Android releases on NVIDIA hardware platforms, resolve complex system-level issues, and improve software quality through automated validation and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing • Bring up, integrate, and upgrade Android OS releases on NVIDIA hardware platforms. • Debug system-level issues across the Android framework, native user space, BSP, kernel, boot, and build environments.

• Enable and validate platform features and resolve Android compatibility and certification failures. • Develop automated validation, functional testing, and post-fix smoke-test workflows.

• Apply and improve AI-assisted workflows for issue triage, debugging, testing, code review, and issue resolution. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, production-quality Android software.

What We Need to See • Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. • Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Java.

• Working knowledge of Python, shell scripting, or similar automation languages. • Solid understanding of operating-system fundamentals and system-level debugging.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd • Experience with AOSP, Android framework internals, native services, HALs, Linux kernel, or BSP development.

• Experience with Android OS bring-up, upgrades, rebases, or system-level debugging, as well as Android certification, reproducible test flows, or module-level smoke testing.

• Familiarity with Android build systems, Git, Gerrit, CI/CD, and automated testing. • Experience developing AI agent infrastructure or LLM-assisted software-engineering workflows.
